Flash SMS

Flash SMS messages appear directly on a phone’s screen without any user interaction but where they differ from a regular SMS is that they are not automatically stored in the inbox. Users still have the option of saving Flash SMS messages with the appropriate sender ID but it’s not done automatically. SMS messages have their own classification with regular SMS message being classified as a Class 1 message and flash SMS messages classified as Class 0 messages. Class 1 denotes the most important SMS messages. Class 1 messages are stored on users’ mobile phone SIM card or phone memory (depending on memory availability) by default.
