Black Route

A Black Route is a route that attempts to defraud a third party in its attempt to deliver a message. An example here would be sending a message to a subscriber of Operator X from a network in some remote and distant country but pretending to be Operator Y. Here, Operator X sends the bill to Operator Y for the cost of the inbound SMS termination fee, who will most likely not pay it because they have no record of sending it. No one gets paid and everyone is unhappy.
